This Privacy Policy explains how LunaLive ("LunaLive", "we", "us") handles information when you use the LunaLive mobile application (the "App"), which lets you watch live beach and surf cams and view surf conditions from around the world. By using the App you agree to this Policy.
Information you provide. The App has no sign-up. The only content you create is photos you choose to capture in the Memories feature. These are saved locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.
Information collected automatically. To operate and improve the App, we and our service providers may process:
Camera access is used solely so you can capture a photo in the Memories feature. Captured photos remain on your device. If a microphone permission is requested, it is only for optional interactive features and no audio is recorded or transmitted without your action. You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
The App does not access your device's GPS location. When you search for a place, the text you type is converted to map coordinates to find nearby cams. Maps show the area you choose to browse — not your personal location.
The Surfers section lets you discover other surfers and exchange messages. When you use these features, the content of your messages and your interactions may be processed to deliver them and to keep the community safe. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior: you can report or block any surfer from their profile or your chat, and reports are reviewed (typically within 24 hours). Blocked users are hidden from you and can no longer reach you. We do not sell your messages or interactions.

Where required, we show Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any advertising identifier (IDFA) is accessed. If you decline, the App continues to work and no IDFA is used. You can change your choice in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Memories stay on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App. Diagnostic and attribution data are retained by our providers for limited periods in line with their policies.
LunaLive is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Live cams and surf data are provided by third parties and may be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable. LunaLive does not control this content.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
