These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LunaLive mobile application (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
LunaLive lets you browse live beach and surf cameras, view surf and weather conditions, save favorite spots, capture personal photo "Memories", and — through the Surfers section — discover and message other surfers. Live camera feeds and surf/weather data are supplied by third parties.
You must be at least 17 years old to use the App, and the Surfers and messaging features are intended for adults. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are legally able to enter into these Terms.
Zero tolerance. LunaLive has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. By using the Surfers and messaging features you agree not to post, send, or share content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, exploitative, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable, and not to impersonate others or send spam.
Meeting people — stay safe. LunaLive does not conduct background checks. If you choose to meet another user in person, meet in public, tell someone where you'll be, and use your own judgment. You interact with other users at your own risk.
Surf reports, wave heights, swell, wind, water temperature and "surf scores" are estimates from third-party forecast models and may be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable. Live cameras may not reflect current conditions. Never rely on LunaLive for decisions affecting your safety. Surfing and ocean activities are inherently dangerous — always check official local sources, heed lifeguards, and use your own judgment.
The App and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Photos you capture as "Memories" are stored locally on your device. Messages and any content you share through the App are your responsibility. You grant us the limited right to process and moderate content as needed to operate the App and enforce these Terms. We do not claim ownership of your content.
The App, its design, and branding are owned by LunaLive. Live camera feeds, maps, and weather data remain the property of their respective providers and are subject to their terms.
The App integrates third-party services (including Google Firebase, Adjust, Windy, and Open-Meteo). Your use of those services may be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LunaLive and its providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, your interactions with other users, or any content within it.
We may modify or discontinue the App, or update these Terms, at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the developer's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
